Chapter Philanthropy

Nu Chapter's main philanthropic focus is to raise money for the Tri Sigma Foundation through our fall philanthropies the Mr. Robbie Page Pageant and Soak-A-Sigma, and our spring philanthropy, Pennies for Page.  However, our chapter members support the philanthropies of all their Greek partners, both financially and through member participation!  They also participate in community service opportunities on the UCM campus and througout Warrensburg.  

All of our members are expected to participate in a minimum of 10 community service hours, on their own, each year... in addition to our chapter projects.  In Fall 2023, 100% of our members volunteered at least 30 hours, on their own!  The members totaled over 6,200 hours of volunteerism!  Through fundraising efforts, our chapter was able to donate over $3,747 to the Tri Sigma Foundation and a wide variety of other worthy causes.  Our members truly believe that "to receive much, you must give much".

As of June 2016, Sigma Sigma Sigma partnered with the March of Dimes, a foundation raising awareness on premature birth. We have put on many events in support of this new foundation including collecting change at a football game, have a lollipop raffle within our school's Union, and even holding "Soak A Sigma" by using a dunk tank!
